About the event

Parenting can be one of life’s greatest joys — and also one of its greatest challenges. When stress builds up, it can impact your health, your patience, and your relationship with your children.

Fathering Through Stress is a two-hour interactive workshop designed to help fathers understand the impact of stress, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and build a toolkit for emotional resilience.

Led by Derrick Byrd, LPC, a licensed therapist specializing in men’s mental health, with support from Dr. Catherine, an expert in early childhood development and parental well-being, this workshop blends professional insight with real-life fatherhood experiences.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The science of stress and how it affects your body and mind

  • Practical techniques for calming your nervous system
